HOME SWEET HOME-even for a few hours

So on Monday I got to go home for a bit. It was sure good to see everyone. Ryan missed me! I love that kid! It was good timing on my part since Ryan volunteered to play the piano at the nursing home that night and i got to go and listen. He is such a good little player for only playing for two months! And i got roped into playing...my mom volunteered me. But luckily i can play i am a child of god so it all worked out. After that we stopped at the library so i could say hi to the ladies there. they were all so surprised and happy to see me! And i was so happy to see them i almost cried! They sure mean a lot to me there! We had to hurry and catch up since mom wanted to leave because she had a schedule and by all means we have to keep to the schedule. Love ya mom! And as ruth and shauna said i am just like you! Anywho, its amazing what being home even for a short time can do for you! i can't wait for next week when i get to spend a whole week home! Thanksgiving-bring it on!

Skor!!!

So last night after the amazing extravadance, i went over to courtney's to make a skor cake...it was about 11 when we decided to do so. So we went to the grocery store to get the stuff and headed back and mixed it all up, mashed the skor bars and baked it. By the time it was finished it was about midnight. OH boy was that cake delish! You know, my mom has always told me not to eat chocolate late after ten or nine or something because you'll have crazy dreams...i have never listened to her about that(and maybe a few other things but that's besides the point) but i should have listened to her last night. I had the craziest dreams ever! It was so wacky. I don't even want to attempt to explain them for fear of being laughed at. As i have moved out and started to figure things out while i've been up here at school...mom and dad are almost, ALMOST, always right. Key work ALMOST. With this they were...but that cake was yummy! :)

CLASSES!!!!

SO last night i stayed up til midnight to sign up for classes for next semester. I was so nervous that i wasn't going to get into the ones that i needed...but as luck would have it i did! I still want to make some changes but i'm in all the classes i need. I sent an email to one teacher that another teacher recommended for me to take this communication class from and apparently so did my teacher that recommended her. So i was checking my email today and i had two from her. The first one was her saying that she would add me to the waiting list and the next she explained that she just got an email from sis clemens and that she added me to the class despite the waiting list with people in front of me. I thought that it was hilarious. For some reason things just keep working out for me! I'm supposed to be here dang it! So i may as well live it up and have a good time. Oh and the best part is i don't have any early classes! none before ten! except for on thursdays i had to take a seven in the morning class....but that's only one morning of the week! I'm so happy!

All by myself

I went to a comedy thing all by myself last night...it was soo funny! I sat down in the middle of the row thinkin that someone would come and sit next to me...but i had the whole row to myself it was kind of awkward.
For the past couple of days i've just need the stress relief of running all by myself...so i go to the track and run it out. 3 miles later and a few sprints later i'm feeling on top of the world. That is until i get back to my apartment and the pain sets in. ibuprofen here i come!!!
I'm going to libby's dance concert thing tonight...all by myself. I am very excited for that.
Sometimes being all alone is ok...and strange enough i'm ok with doing things all by myself! i've just proven to myself that i can do things on my own! Little miss independent.

Funny Stuff!

At work yesterday, that's right at work, i was getting paid for this...the library got a new wii and rockband for the national gaming day which is on saturday so we had to "test" it. An hour and a half later we figured we had better put it away. We went down into the basement plugged it all in and rocked out! We all had such a fun time! it was so funny watching a few of the people rockin out! I think rockband is awesome! they are thinking about getting dance dance revolution soon so we might be having another game day in the future! I love my job!

The Cocoa Bean

Last weekend Dawn came up and she stayed with me! we had so much fun! we stayed up until two in the morning just chattin! then we slept in and decided for breakfast to go to the cocoa bean and get some cupcakes. We just walked there since it was pretty close. So we got there and i realized i had my camera with me. We ate our yummy cupcakes and then started our "adventure" back to my apartment where we took 34 pictures on the way. It was so much fun! Here are just a few pics from the adventure...

I love to see the Temple!

I got to go the temple again on Wednesday to do baptisms. Its tradition for now to go to the temple every Wednesday. I guess you could consider me a regular now because one of the ladies as i was leaving said "see you next week!" And i told one of the guys my last name and he said "i should know that by now" it was kinda funny. But it was a very foggy misty day and the temple still looks beautiful so i had to take a picture. The first time that i went to the temple up here was the first time i kinda felt at home. I love the feelings i get there and can't wait until i get to do more there in the temple. I love to see the temple!
